18 August 1915 - Cover from Bushire to Shiraz franked with 2x2ch (perf. 11.5, tall), 3ch (perf. 11.5x11, tall) and 5ch (perf. 11.5x11, tall) of 1911 Ahmad Shah issue with “BUSHIRE Under British Occupation.” overprint, paying a total of 12 Chahis double domestic rate, cancelled with ‘BUSHIRE 18.VIII.15’ departure postmark.
The cover was opened and closed by British censors in Bushire and sealed with by “Opened by Censor in the name of King George V” large green label. The cover was later intercepted in transit in Borazjan by Tangistani Tribes under the German - Wassmuss supervision, opened and closed using a cream color censor label overprinted a black negative 49mm x 15mm censor depicting a lion holding sword at the top in Farsi reads “Investigated in the name of the Persian nation in Borazjan”. The cover is genuine in all respects.
