In 1896, the 1876 5ch envelope was demonetized and was no longer in circulation. On arrival in Shiraz, the cover was opened by the Reza Khan forces and closed by two narrow sealing tapes on two places and received three different dull violet censors of Shiraz military forces, one rectangular in Farsi “Censored” on back side of the tape on cover, the second censor word of “Shiraz” in Farsi, applied on the front end of the tape on cover, and the third censor is a small oval with word of “Shiraz” on the front end of the tape on cover. The cover is genuine in all respects.

The cover received a black rectangular Kermanshah Military Censor measuring 39mm x 18mm on sealing tape on both sides of the cover, in Farsi inscription of ‘Military Censor - Sur 1303’. This censor mostly applied directly on covers, and on a sealing tape is rare. The cover is genuine in all respects.
